It's been a long time...

It's been a long time since we've had anything good to talk about, but we are erect with excitement to announce our new drummer, John Stewart (ex-BLOODLET, maybe the Daily Show too I think...), he has been learning the Tranq tunes the past few weeks and adding his unique touches to them as well....

We will be returning Live at The Haven, Nov 11th with 5 Billion Dead, as part of the "Road to the Orlando Metal Awards" series of shows...

Tranquilizer's Return!

Tranquilizer is finally returning to the Central Florida music scene. After almost a year searching for a replacement for departed vocalist Neil, the band is happy to announce they have found a new singer. Arthur Levesque has stepped up and in as the new vocalist for the Orlando hard rock machine that is Tranquilizer. "I knew Arthur was the guy about a half hour into the first jam with him," said guitarist Chris Edwards. "He fit in all areas; talent, attitude, motivation, and personality."

Arthur will lead the new charge at Tranquilizer's first show in a year: September 5th at The Haven in Winter Park. This will be a Connections Live! event and will also feature Burning In Silence, Found, and Triple Shot. "We'll be doing a mix of new and old songs," said Chris, "we can't wait to get back out there, especially the out of town shows." Tranquilizer's merchandise will be marked down for this show, so if you haven't picked up their CD "Disillusioned Rebels", this will be your chance to get one cheap.

New Members!

Tranquilizer has added two members: Lucky on drums (first person on left pictured here) and Neil on vocals (3 person from left pictured here). 

We have reworked some old songs as well as begun writing new material.

CD Released!

Our CD, "Disillusioned Rebels", is currently available in our "Merchandise" section. Song samples can be heard on our MySpace page. Other big news is our CD got 7.5 out of 10 in the Brave Underground section of the new issue of Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles (#105 w/ Ozzy on the cover- out now at your local newsstand!) This is world wide press for us so we are excited! Also the CD received 5 out of 5 in the August issue of Connections magazine, the local music magazine here in Central Florida.
